However, rookie idol Goeun from girl group Laysha has shocked fans by being quite open with her body, showing off a fierce and sexy attitude ever since her debut.

In addition to doing performances with her fellow group members, Goeun has also starred in several solo photo shoots as well as modelled in tight swimwear and lingerie among other revealing outfits.

She has been gaining popularity lately, with some fans commenting she’s 'even sexier than Hyuna'. Her following continues to grow, reports Koreaboo.

Goeun's attitude towards her image goes to show that the competition within the K-pop industry is getting more intense than ever. Everyone is trying to outshine each other not with their voice but with their looks. Shanghai International Film Festival 2016

A slew of Asia's biggest stars flaunted their best outfits on the red carpet of the 19th Shanghai International Film Festival, which opened on Saturday (June 11).

As they posed for hungry cameras at the Shanghai Grand Theatre, some celebrities impressed with their sartorial choices, while a few others may want to consider hiring a new stylist.

On the red carpet, Charmaine Sheh from Hong Kong cut an impressive figure in a drop-shoulder black gown that showed off her curves.

Taiwanese actress Shu Qi looked demure in a cream sleeveless coat dress, while her Chinese counterpart, Tiffany Tang, showed off her shapely pins in a black coat dress with a feathery hem.

Celebrity couple Huang Xiaoming and Angelababy went with the safe options of a black-and-white tux and a gold gown with shimmery details.

Ruby Lin also appeared cautious with her outfit, having paired an open white shirt (with a nude slip within) with an ankle-grazing A-line skirt.

A few female celebrities made ill-considered choices, such as Karena Lam whose red gown blended in with the equally red backdrop.

It is even more unbelievable that some of them look better than ever before. Sammi Cheng looks more refined and elegant compare to the first time she stepped on stage performing. Kelly Chen and Shu Qi both as pretty as before while Michelle Reis simply looked stunning at the age of 45. And who could believe that the Taiwanese goddess Lin Chi Ling is already 41 years old? And what about Athena Chu? She used to be raw and have darker complexion but look at her now, more gorgeous than before.

My favourite of all has to be Sharla Cheung who played pivotal female characters in most of Stephen Chow's earlier movies. She looked pretty then but is more gorgeous now. 

One can't help but wonder what are the secrets of these goddesses to their youth. Is it simply the science of plastic surgery or something deeper like happiness and emotional positiveness?
