A slew of Asia's biggest stars flaunted their best outfits on the red
carpet of the 19th Shanghai International Film Festival, which opened on
Saturday (June 11).
As they posed for hungry cameras at the Shanghai Grand Theatre, some
celebrities impressed with their sartorial choices, while a few others
may want to consider hiring a new stylist.
On the red carpet, Charmaine Sheh from Hong Kong cut an impressive
figure in a drop-shoulder black gown that showed off her curves.
Taiwanese actress Shu Qi looked demure in a cream sleeveless coat
dress, while her Chinese counterpart, Tiffany Tang, showed off her
shapely pins in a black coat dress with a feathery hem.
Celebrity couple Huang Xiaoming and Angelababy went with the safe
options of a black-and-white tux and a gold gown with shimmery details.
Ruby Lin also appeared cautious with her outfit, having paired an
open white shirt (with a nude slip within) with an ankle-grazing A-line
skirt.
A few female celebrities made ill-considered choices, such as Karena
Lam whose red gown blended in with the equally red backdrop.
